Olive International Manpower Resources, Inc. is a licensed land-based, full-service recruitment, processing, and placement agency, with expertise in management consultancy services, particularly in the area of human resources development. 

The Agency’s operations group includes some of the country’s top human resources professionals who can provide proven HR solutions, as they are themselves familiar with many aspects of an organization’s manpower concerns, be they about finance, systems, service, and even managerial people. 

Olive International was organized in the last quarter of 2003 as an expansion of its parent company, Olive Maintenance Services, Inc. after nearly 30 years of successful operations in terms of providing competent, dedicated, and highly productive workers to many industries in the domestic sector, particularly in Building Maintenance, Electronics and ICT.

Our advantages: 

1.     Fresh pool of pre-screened applicants.  With almost 3 decades experience in domestic operations by its parent company, Olive International is expanding its pool of workers in nine (9) occupational groups, with a variety of skills and capabilities, personalities and experience.

2.     Unique system of sourcing nationwide.

a.       National Radio.  In addition to the traditional use of newspaper ads, direct mail, job fairs and other forms of media, Olive is tied up with the largest single radio network (50 stations) which broadcast announcements of job openings on a regular basis.  This type of sourcing enables the Agency to attract the best talents from even the most remote areas of the country, thereby offering Employers the widest selection of candidates for their purposes. 

b.       On-Campus Scouting.  Olive also goes to schools to prospect for candidates to its manpower pool. 

3.     Two-way Screening.  In order that we can ensure that ideal fit between employer’s need and the Applicant’s qualifications, Olive discusses the parameters with each of them.

a.       Employers are encouraged to provide more backgrounders about their organizations beyond merely the particular Job Order at hand enumerating their manpower needs. Olive tries to look into their culture, vision and mission, and the core values they want to share eventually with the workers that they hire.  Where these are available, we try to secure copies of Employees’ Code(s), Quality Philosophy/Policies, and People Philosophy among others. 

b.       Applicants are probed for non-technical competencies such as “proprietary interest”, people skills, temperament/discipline, and overall emotional intelligence. 

4.     In-house Orientation Sessions.  Similarly, to supplement the basic courses that prepare them only for the required state and trade tests, selected candidates are given special training in subjects like value formation, self-management, team building and the like, thus enabling them to get acclimatized with the Employers operations almost immediately upon joining them.

5.     Continuous Monitoring.  Olive International continues to monitor and evaluate the performance of each worker for the entire duration of the contract.
